We are sad to announce that, on July 4, 2024, at the age of 90, Evelyn P. Libby of Rockford, Illinois, born in Methuen, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Powell and Leslie Powell (LeGrand); her husband Rev. Edward A. Libby; her siblings, Hazel Rutherford (Don), William Powell (Marge), Grace Nault (Norman) and Eleanor O'Hearn (James); and her nephew David Nault.
She is survived by: her son Christopher; her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Webb of Kansas City, Missouri; her daughter Andrea Sweet; her son-in-law Brad of Rockford; her grandchildren, Emma Libby, Jackson and Hunter Sweet; her brother Hartley Powell; and her friends, Merlin, Nina Lawson (family: James, Patricia Reynhout) and Ireta Ekstrom. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
