He was predeceased by: his father Felipe Sr. Martinez; and his brother Rafael Martinez. He is survived by: his mother Maria Natividad Martinez; his wife Imelda Aguilera; his children, Diana Ortmann and Eric Martinez (Jennifer); his grandson Angelo Ortmann; and his siblings, Gloria Martinez, Martha Larrick (Dan), Maria Sanchez, Ana Martinez, Josie Martinez, Rosa Martinez (Miguel), Jose Guadalupe Martinez and Rolando Martinez. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hope Fellowship (1135 E State St, Rockford, IL 61104). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
