Bailey, Eddie Williams, George Holmes and Roscoe Kimes.
He is survived by: his children, Dorothy Brown (Craig), John Primes (Tina), Patricia Primes, Edward Primes and Lakesha Primes; his grandchildren, Anitra Aborom (Floyd), Xavier Brown, Deon Freeman, Montail Primes, John Primes Jr., Asia Primes, Tinesha Primes, Cliffvon McCullough (Jasmine), Waynesha "Puddin" Clark, Danielle Challenger, Lavonne Hill-Primes, Edward Primes Jr., La'Nija Woodfork, Montwain Carter, Samiyah "Boo Baby" Ferguson, Sontierra Johnson, Tazjane Smith, Felicion Chandler and Ebony Curry; his sister Gennie Ella Bailey; his siblings-in-law, Rosie Wright, Clara Primes, Jessie "Shoeman" Lewis, Rev. Ronnie Charleston and Bennie Kimes; and also Donald Hart. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Zion M. B. Church (404 N Avon St, Rockford, IL 61101). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
