It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Steven Alms of Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on February 20, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary Steven Alms to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed and Betsy; his sister-in-law Linda Alms (Nance); and his nephew Brian Aden. He is survived by: his wife Patti Alms; his pet Cooper; his children, Charlotte Alms and Jesse Alms (Danielle Ebany); his stepchildren, Josh Carlson (Laura) and Kelsey Carlson; his grandchildren, Graham, Paleigh and Avery; his siblings, Tom Alms, Pat Aden, Doug Alms (Liz), John Alms (Karrie), Joanne Smith (Sam), Nancy Lamb (Rob) and Ed Alms (Lori); and his great-nephew Evan Aden. He is also survived by 30 nieces and nephews; and 32 (and counting!) grand nieces and nephews.
