She was predeceased by: her parents, Larry Berkley and Gertrude Berkley (McGlaun); her son Edward Calvin Hancock III; her grandsons, Juamaul Pitt II and Te'lyl Beasley; her sisters, Denise Goodwin and Loretta Sockwell; and her nephew Mario Sockwell.
She is survived by: her husband Elbert R. Jordan; her daughters, Tasha Champion (Terryon), Aliza Jordan and Yvette Jordan; her grandchildren, Alexus Brown, Corey Brown, Victoria Brown, Angelo Perteete, Kristopher Champion and Madisun Champion; her great grandchild Nevaeh Brown; her brother Jeffrey Goodwin; and her sibling's children, William Sockwell (Edna), Curtis Sockwell, Margaret Goodwin, Tami Jennings, Shay Sockwell and Chasstidy Goodwin. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar Fitzgerald Funeral Home (3910 N Rockton Ave, Rockford, IL 61103). A memorial service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel (3910 N Rockton Ave, Rockford, IL 61103).
