We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2023, at the age of 75, Gerald Hickey of Rockford, Illinois, born in DeKalb, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Hickey and Mary Hickey (Hughes). He is survived by: his wife Helen Murphy; his children, Angie Torre (Steve), Craig Hickey and Julie Auestad (Matt); his stepchildren, Jackie Hamilton (Sean), Joey Schap (Jamie Garland) and Kristen Finnicum; his grandchildren, Olivia, McKinley, Amelia, Natalie (Quay Taber), Emily, Courtney (Drew), Lauren, Madison, Kendall and Chad; his great grandchildren, Amari, Isabelle and Grayson; and his siblings, Kay (Lex), Kevin (Donna), Terry, Kelly (Lynne) and Jim (Carrie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to be established at a later date.
