He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Knuth and Opal Knuth; and his sister Marjorie Rinaldo. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his sons, Kent and Kevin Knuth (Anja); his grandchildren, Tyler, Conner, Lindsey and Kyle Knuth; and his siblings-in-law, Tony Rinaldo, Donald "D. R." Rosene, David Rosene (Paula), Jim Rosene (Denise) and Marlene Wilson (Robert). He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Free Church (2223 N Mulford Rd, Rockford, IL 61107).
