He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry A. Anderson and Ebba I. Anderson (Andreen); his sister Eloise Larson (Robert); his brother-in-law Wayne Folkerts; and his son-in-law Scott Schloff.

He is survived by: his wife Veronica M. Kohl; his children, Charles Anderson (Brenda), Karen Schloff and Kris Borgmann; and his sister Linda Folkerts. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson and many nieces and nephews.
