She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Nelson and Mary Jayne Nelson (Miller); and her brother-in-law John Lucido. She is survived by: her husband Fredric "Ric"; her daughter Christina King (Eric) of Dublin, OH; her granddaughter Acelynn King; her sister Marcia Lucido of Garland, TX; her nephews, Brad Lucido (Yuka) of Tokyo and Jeff Lucido (Kristin); her great-niece Isabella Lucido of Garland, TX; and her aunts, Karen Morris of Rockford and Janet Person of Minneapolis.
