Gordon left this world on July 23, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. As Gordon departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gordon may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gordon leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Corning and Winnifred Corning (Meyers); his siblings, Charles and Elizabeth Coleman; and his half-sisters, Eva and Vivian.
He is survived by: his sibling's children, Cynthia Sievert, Mischel "Mickey" Rush (Curt) and Gerald Corning; and his stepbrother Donald "Don" Ward. He is also survived by seven great nephews; one great niece; numerous great great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium (2355 Cranston Rd, Beloit, WI 53511). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
