Though Gregory may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lionel Barrett and Dorothy Barrett (Westlund); his sister Nancy Ostlie (Charlie); his nephew Colin Ostlie; and his son Geoffery Eugene Barrett.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Nell (Neeleman); his children, John Gregory Barrett and Nancy Noel Barrett; his siblings, Colleen Lohrenz (Stuart), Bradley and Brent Barrett; and his grandson Wesley James Barrett. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Hope Church (5656 Elevator Rd, Roscoe, IL 61073). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
