He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Krominga and Lola Krominga (Hammond); his wife Lelah Krominga (Meyer); his grandson Jamie Spray; his brother Randy Krominga; his cousin Vaughn Krominga; his brother-in-law Rev. James Rozendaal; and his nephew David Rozendaal.
He is survived by: his daughter Kelli Spray (Aaron Spray) of Byron; his grandchildren, Liam and Cora Spray; his son Jason Krominga (Beth Krominga) of Rockford; his grandchildren, Trevor and Carly Krominga; his brother Kim Krominga; and his sisters-in-law, Rev. Shirley Rozendaal of Independence and LaVonne Wierenga (Gerald) of Niles, Michigan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Grace United Methodist Church (3555 McFarland Rd, Rockford, IL 61114). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
