We are sad to announce that on February 27, 2023, at the age of 78, Harold Eugene Hess of Rockford, Illinois, born in Lititz, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hess and Verna Hess (Dombach). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Smith; and his siblings, Jay Hess (Joan) and Mary Ester Clark (Ben). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for Masses to be said on his behalf.
