He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Gibson and Marjorie Gibson (Grant); and his wife Mary. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Mary Judith McWhinnie (Thomas) of Seattle, Washington; and his grandchildren, Molly McWhinnie (Russ Stevenson), Shannon Lee, Richard Winquist and Thomas Winquist. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren.
