He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Sawicki and Violet Sawicki; and his son-in-law Thomas Harrolle. He is survived by: his daughters, Theresa Evans (Tony), Cathleen Harrolle and Harriette Steele (Douglas); his grandchildren, Lacy, Cody Evans, Luke Sawicki (Erika), Suzy White (Samuel), Grace Brooks (Taylor), Candiss Bankus (Aaron), Ryan and Heather Cogdill; and his great grandchildren, Violet, Rosalia, Wyatt, Eva, Isla, Ryker, Irelynn, Veda, Sunny, Ionah and Nora.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Stanislaus Church (201 Buckbee St, Rockford, IL 61104). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
