It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen B. Prunty of Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Jones and Elnora Jones; her son Kevin Douglas Prunty; and her siblings, Ollie Mae Ricks, Thelma Jones, Margaret Jones, Peggy Watkins, Andrew Jones Jr., Brett Tell and Ernest Tell.
She is survived by: her children, Belinda Caryl Prunty, Aprel Prunty and Robert Prunty (Romona); her grandchildren, Robert Jr., Raymon, Ricky Prunty, Ruby Prunty-Del Rio, Shelreese Prunty-Elieh and Tanasha Prunty; her great grandchild Ashley Prunty; and her siblings, Joe Ricks, Cleophas Tell, Nathaniel Tell (Mary), James Clifton Watkins, Areatha Anthony and Zelner Gladney.
We honor her memory, her contributions to our lives and communities, and the profound love she shared with so many.
