Inez Virginia Roberts Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Inez Virginia Roberts of Rockford, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 24, 2025 at the age of 80. In the vast expanse of eternity, may Inez Virginia find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wilson and Lou Bertha Wilson; her husband David Roberts Sr.; her son Derrick Roberts; and her brothers, Carnell Waldon and Russell Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Davidia Williams (Lonnie) and David Roberts Jr.; and her caregivers, Wanda Coleman and Teresa Fambro. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven greatgrandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. (200 N Johnston Ave, Rockford, IL 61101). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
