It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Inga M Sandberg (Rockford, Illinois), born in Evanston, Illinois, who passed away on January 17, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Holaine and Astrid Holaine (Carlson); her husband Cliff Sandberg; and her sister Pauline Nelson (Holaine). She is survived by: her children, Mark Larson (Marcia), Shari Sparks (Larry), Jodi Kempin, Jeff Larson (Carol), Laura Cochuyt (Rick), Connie Dodson (Kenny) and Bruce Sandberg (Lisa); and her brother-in-law Kenneth Nelson. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Camp Timber-Lee or First Free Church in Rockford, Illinois.
