She is survived by: her children, Jarene Brown (Namon Bingham), Jaree Brown, Irvin, Eric, Alan, William, Simeon and Tizio Brown; and her siblings, Carmera Darlene Johnson and Elzer Brown. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. (200 N Johnston Ave, Rockford, IL 61101). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
