He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. Stanley and Constance "Connie" Stanley (Beach); and his brother David Stanley. He is survived by: his close friend Nancy Garcia; his niece Tammy Wench (Kevin); his nephew Jamie Stanley; his stepchildren, Sherita Morgan (Tom), Stephanie Garcia and Richard Garcia (Melody); his sister-in-law Sherry; and his granddaughter Rachelle Powell. He is also survived by 2 great nieces; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ursday Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory - Riverside (3910 N Rockton Ave, Rockford, IL 61103).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Make A Wish or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
