James Earl Taylor Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2025, at the age of 66, James Earl Taylor of Rockford, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Taylor and Lizzie Taylor; and his brothers, Lorenzo, Eddie and Otis Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Hanserd; his children, Latia Turner (Antonio), James Taylor and Jawuan Taylor; his grandchildren, Timberlyn, Jazayah and Treylan; his godson Amaury; and his siblings, Florence Scott (Otis), Evette, Mary Taylor, Milton "Leon" Taylor, Austin, Bill and Charles Taylor. He is also survived by nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Paul Church of God in Christ (1001 Bishop Washington Ave, Rockford, IL 61102). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
