He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Mielke and Opal Mielke. He is survived by: his children, Jill Hamer (late Mickey), Jack Mielke, Cheryl Walker (Chris) and Sam Rattanasavanh (Heidi); and his grandchildren, RJ Nemeth (Samantha), Nouk Rattananavanh (Melissa), Anthony Rattanasavanh, Tommie Rattanasavanh, Isaiah Walker, Jackie West (Eric), Victoria Choules (Isaac) and Valerie Chisum (Lance).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grace United Methodist Church (3555 McFarland Rd, Rockford, IL 61114). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
