He is survived by: his children, James L. Box, Jr. (Maeisha), Sheree Monique Box and Sharlise L. Box; his grandchildren, Malik, Nyair, Tristin, Darmarcus, Damarion, Kayden, La'Damian, Christan, James III and Ja'meer; his great grandchild Kamaria Gipson; his sisters, Ruby Gathright, Eva Lucas (Gordy) and Cassandra Brown (Michael); his stepsister Helen Williams; his close friends, Louis Washington, Sr. and Cheryl Groce; and his goddaughter Cheryl R. Cooper. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
