She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl A. Bottcher and F. Marion Bottcher (Dykeman); her husband Jim; her daughter-in-law Betty Burnell; her grandson Nathan Burnell; her sisters, Jeanne Bottcher, Susan Milligan and Pat Gibson; and her brothers-in-law, Bernard Gibson and Arnold Milligan.
She is survived by: her sons, Don Burnell and Paul Burnell (Terri); her grandchildren, Jennifer Seay (Jeff), Andrew Burnell and Shelby Carlsson (Noah); and her great grandchildren, Mikayla and Everette Seay. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:15 PM at the Journey Church (7825 Forest Hills Rd, Loves Park, IL 61111). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a memorial to be established later.
