He was predeceased by: his father Paul T. Gilligan. He is survived by: his mother Lucille Gilligan (Kite); his wife Jill M. Lozzio; his children, Austin Gilligan and Haley Gilligan (Luke); his siblings, Judy LaBree and Jody Gilligan (Deb); and his best friend Bullet. He is also survived by many extended family members, dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Genandt Chapel (602 N Elida St, Winnebago, IL 61088). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rascal's Bar & Grill (5223 Torque Rd, Loves Park, IL 61111).
