He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Lizzie Gray; his wife Rose Gray; his daughter Regina Eiland (Michael Harrington); his stepchildren, Quentin Sr. Eiland (Rhonda Mayweather) and Deon Sr. Eiland (Camisha Lampley); his grandchildren, Shaundale Jackson Jr., Qwaun, Tyree Jackson and Frederick Leigh Jr.; his siblings, Helen Kellum, Hazel Porterfield, Sandra Yavello (Robert), Doretha Franklin, Linda Reed, Roger Brown, Otis and Curtis Gray; his close friends, Melvin Hurt and Paul Douglas; his parent Lizzie Brown; his children, Shaundale Jackson Sr. and Delisia Eiland; his grandsons, Nicholas Leigh and Deon Eiland Jr.; and his brothers, Earl and Johnny Franklin. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church (4615 Auburn St, Rockford, IL 61101). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
