It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Johnson of Rockford, Illinois, born in Union City, Tennessee, who passed away on December 6, 2023, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Johnson; her children, Floyd L. Johnson (Buck) and Doris Miller (Jeannie); her brother Franklin L. Burris; and her friend Rosie Farrar.
She is survived by: her daughters, Charlotte Martin and Michaelle Rooker (Michael Lewis); her friends, P. J. Woodworth and Cleolia Penix; and her grandsons, Brian Johnson, Steven Miller, Nathanial and Bruce. She is also survived by Grandchildren, a bounty of Great Grandchildren, Great Great and even Great Great Great Grandchildren.
