She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman H. Weeks and Portia C. Weeks (Pease); her husband Douglas Boettcher; her grandson Steven Boettcher; her sisters, Elizabeth Griffith and Norma Bleed; and her son-in-law Robert Haney.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Schou (James), Mary Jo Haney, David Boettcher (Gina), Robert Boettcher (Brenda) and John Boettcher (Julie); her grandchildren, Jenny Chelstrom (Nels), Brian Schou (Melinda), Robert Haney, Joe Haney (Katie), Laurie Boettcher, Natalie Boettcher, Emily Boettcher, Joe Boettcher (Janell) and Andy Boettcher (Julie); her stepgrandchildren, Janice Steele and Dan Haney; her great grandchildren, Brandon, Emma Schou, William and Penny Haney; her stepgreat-granddaughters, Nicole Steele and Savannah Steele; her daughters, Violet and Rose; and also Spencer.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center (3470 N Alpine Rd, Rockford, IL 61114). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Carpenter's Place or Samaritan's Purse.
