She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Pfaffle and Astrid Pfaffle; and her brothers, Thomas and Charles Pfaffle. She is survived by: her husband David C. Larson; her children, Ellen Musiak (Mike) and John Larson (Chris); and her grandchildren, Nicklas, Hannah Musiak, Mark and Megan Larson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Joan's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
