It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John I. Everling of Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on September 15, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Everling and Beverly Everling (Stinemates); his brothers, Scott and Mark Everling; and his nephew Lance Everling.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Mary Everling (Freund); his children, Dan Everling (Lori), Todd Everling, Chris Everling and Stefanie Lenz; his grandchildren, Ian Doyle, Anessa Everling, Bryson Everling, Andrew Everling, Adriana Everling, Chad Lenz and Max Everling; and his siblings, William Everling (Barb) and Kathy Farr.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory - Mulford (1860 S Mulford Rd, Rockford, IL 61108). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location.
