He was predeceased by: his parents, David Kruse and Thelma Kruse (Lundbom). He is survived by: his wife Teresa L. Watson; his daughters, Lisa Heggen (Christopher) and Michelle Kruse; his grandson Henry; and his siblings, Susan Welsh (Thomas) and Steven Kruse (Fiorella Spalvieri). He is also survived by 10 brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; 10 nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel (1860 S Mulford Rd, Rockford, IL 61108). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Rita Catholic Church (6254 Valley Knoll Dr, Rockford, IL 61109).
