He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Ketcham and Florence Ketcham; his wife Phyllis; his children, Sharon Cacciatore (Carl) and John Ketcham (Susan); his grandchildren, Jared Cacciatore (Ciara), Callie Dixon, Luke Ketcham (Kaela) and Sarah Applegate (Travis); his great grandchildren, Hayes, Tallulah, Haddie, Nash and Levi; and his brother-in-law Loyal Slaughter (Melodee).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be directed to Northern Illinois Hospice, Maywood Evangelical Free Church, and Rockford Rescue Mission.
