He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Nelson and Ruth Nelson (Carlson); and his brothers, Robert L. Marlow, David L. Marlow and Eddy L. Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Laurie; his close friend Bruce Lee; his children, David Betts (Jenn), Damian Nelson (Andrea), Michael Craglow, Kari Doss, Justin Doss (Marlene) and Evan Doss (Andrew Harth); his grandchildren, Luke, Mariah, Drew Betts, Damian Jr., Gage, Caitlin, Stori, Cota Nelson, Karianna Valentine and Michael Craglow Jr.; his sister Nancy Smith (Barrett); and his nieces, Lisa Schuur (Kris), Mcrea Chandler (Benjamin) and Moira Hammarstedt (Dave).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
