June Sowa Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Sowa (Rockford, Illinois), who passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Milner McPherson and Mildred McPherson (Garland); her husband Julian; and her daughter Barbara Sowa-Forman. She is survived by: her friend June; her daughter Christine Sebek (George) of Cherry Valley; her grandchildren, Christopher Forman (Nicole), Shannon Watanuki (Cliff), Vanessa Sebek, Julian Sebek (Amanda), Leah Matuszewski (Steven) and Brittany Renello (Michael); and her great grandchildren, Hanah, Alexys, Jason, Cullen, Addyson, Evan, Eleanor, Gabriella, Olivia and Evelyn.
