Kathie Jean Gamlin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 15, 2025, at the age of 70, Kathie Jean Gamlin of Rockford, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ohlsen and Barbara Ohlsen (Anderson); her husband Richard Gamlin; her daughter-in-law Sara Gamlin; and her pet Maggie.
She is survived by: her sons, Jonathan Gamlin (Heather Knoll) and Erik Gamlin (Melissa); her grandchildren, Lani Oakes (Kolton), Skylar, Hunter, Kendall, Bennett Gamlin and Thorin Knoll; her great grandchild Millie Oakes; her siblings, Linda Lyford (Larry), Jamie Hoium and Lisa Torio (Dion); and her cousins, Yorkie and Pepper. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Grace Funeral & Cremation Services (4301 N Main St, Rockford, IL 61103). A celebration of life was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM at the same location.
