It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen L. Delany of Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on December 30, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Lane and Kathleen Lane (Fleming); and her husband Mike. She is survived by: her children, Michael Jr. (Angie Schmidt), Mary, Peter (Heidi), John, Julie Heberer (Bill) and Dan (Lynne); her grandchildren, Maggie (Jack), Katie (Andrew), Payton, Erin, Sarah, Will, Ben, Ellie Heberer, Tommy, Charlie, Celia and Gemma; and her great grandchild Belle. She is also survived by cousins, relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Peter and Kathleen Lane Scholarship Fund at Boylan High School of Rockford or to Catherine's Residence, 2039 N. Geyer Rd., St. Louis, MO, would be appreciated.

Sadly, I'm about the only one left of that group of friends but what wonderful memories I have of playing bridge with Coleen and going to wonderful New Years Day parties at their house.
