She was predeceased by: her parents, Mose Ellis and Leeoma Ellis; her former husband Johnny Lee Loyd; her stepchildren, Sherman Garrett, Monique Moody, Perry, John Williams and Pamela Garrett; her grandchildren, Brianna, Jon Loyd and George Thomas; her daughters-in-law, Kathy, Ann and Denise Loyd; and her siblings, Mary Jones, Mattie Mitchell and Eddie Ellis.
She is survived by: her children, Velora Johnson, Lena McKnight, John Loyd, Albert Loyd, Ricky Loyd (Luratha), Michael Loyd (Diana), Milton Loyd and Anthony Loyd; her stepdaughters, Ruthie Parker (Richard) and Janie Gant; and her siblings, Hannabelle Summers, Lillie Bradley, Mosella Bradley, Mose Ellis Jr., Isaiah Ellis, James Ellis and Henry Ellis (Linda). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
