It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry C. Goodnite of Rockford, Illinois, born in DeKalb, Illinois, who passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Goodnite and Roderick Pearl Goodnite; his daughter Denise Burrow; and his siblings, Barb Rubeck and Roderick Garland "Bill" Goodnite.

He is survived by: his children, Carter Fraser of Rockford, David Goodnite (Lana) of Loves Park, Michelle Haring (Klent) of DeKalb, Christie Follis (Michael) of Rockford, Nicholas Goodnite of South Beloit and Randy Goodnite (Yome) of Auburn, Wash.; his grandchildren, Codi Burrow, Zachary Burrow, Mickinzi Stevens, Garrett Goodnite, Hannah Goodnite, Payton Avery, Hailey Avery, Savannah Avery, Logan Haring, Skylar Haring, Brandon Goodnite, Bailey Smith, Makayla Follis, Kylie Follis, Morgan Goodnite, Bryan Goodnite, Pousavahn Goodnite, Elijah Ware and Autumn Ware; his sister Brenda Marshall (John) of Kirkland; and his sister-in-law Janet Goodnite. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family for a fund to be established.
