He is survived by: his children, Shatanjela Black, Shalonda Dean, Larry Dean, Sharelda Dean and Tiffany Moore-Drayton; and his siblings, Russell Dean, Anthony Dean, Michael Dean and Luella Tolfree. He is also survived by loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Collins & Stone Funeral Home (128 S 5th St, Rockford, IL 61104). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
