He is survived by: his wife Peggy Holtzman; his daughters, Heather Hardwick (Christopher) of Roscoe and Rebecca "Becca" Slater of Seattle, WA; his grandchildren, William "Daisy" Hardwick and Katherine "Katie" Hardwick; and his sister Marilyn Aldi of Frederick, MD..
