She is survived by: her husband Kent Akerman; her children, Dusty Booker, Sandra Jass (Benito), Christine McCollum (Michael), Larry Akerman (Vickie) and James Akerman; her grandchildren, Luke, Abbey, Max, Zachary, Dehlia, Darien, Benito and Frank; her great grandchildren, Clayton, Penelope and Otto; her siblings, Martha Gertman and William "Bill" Beyette; and her close friend Pam.
