He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Dunlap and Ida Dunlap (Kothe); his wife Nancy Bertchie; his daughter Julie; and his siblings, Marion Hirtz, Effie Hudson and Richard Dunlap.
He is survived by: his daughter Cathy Dunlap (Steve); and his grandchildren, Selena and Daniel.
In lieu of flowers, Larry previously suggested that he would like everyone to go adopt a shelter animal in his honor, but if that is not possible, his family suggests that memorial gifts may be made to either the Winnebago Animal Shelter or Christ United Methodist Church both located in Rockford, IL.
