With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lawrence W. Peterson of Rockford, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 12, 2025 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lawrence W. Peterson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Peterson and Nancy Peterson; his grandfather Erik (Kelly); and his brothers, Wilbur, Chester, Ervin, Roy, Allen and Rodney.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Baymler; his daughters, Jan Olsen and Teri Macdonald (Jeff); his grandchildren, Erik Olsen (Megan) and Kelly Lewis (Elliott); and his great grandchildren, Lucia and Stella Olsen.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Salem Lutheran Church (2702 1st St, Barnum, MN 55707). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Mount Salem Cemetery would be appreciated.
