He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Van Vleck and Eva Fischer (Nichwander); his sister Marian Vowell; and his grandson Anthony Michael Van Vleck. He is survived by: his children, Tina Tallent (David) of Rockford, IL, Regina Bliss (Chris Roach) of Central, SC, Michael Van Vleck (Denisse) of Mesa, AZ and Nicole Replogle of South Beloit, IL; and his siblings, Rita Dublo of Rockford, Mark Van Vleck (Denise) of Rockford, Sandy Horner (Jack) of Pecatonica, IL and Stephanie Carlson (Damon Pierce) of Wolverine Lake, MI.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (1010 Ferguson St, Rockford, IL 61102). A Mass will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
