She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Dahlberg and Elsie Dahlberg (Johnson); her husband Tony; her brother John Dahlberg; her stepdaughter Linda Spinelli (Jim); and her siblings-in-law, Viola Sliktas, Allen Sliktas, Robert Aden, Donna Aden and Rodney Swanson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lori Michalsen (Thomas) of Rockford, Juli Bracken (Brian) of Rockford and Viki Irwin (Brett) of Rockford; her grandchildren, Brian Michalsen (Meredith), Paul Michalsen (Julie), Jenna Cornelius, Haley Irwin, Brady Irwin, Aaron Bracken and Peyton Bracken; her great grandchildren, Tara Smith, Henry Diep-Michalsen, Alice Diep-Michalsen, Kaylee Snow, Livia Cornelius, Aven Cornelius, Beckett Michalsen and Eloise Michalsen; and her sisters-in-law, Dinah Swanson and Diane McCoy. She is also survived by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Memorials in Leona's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
