He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Slavie Hamachek and Alice Hamachek (Sejnoha); and his siblings, LaVerne Ciekutis, LeRoy Hamachek and Oliver Hamachek.
He is survived by: his wife Joan of Rockford; his children, Scott Hamachek (Karmen), Timothy Hamachek and Jennifer Davidson (Rob); his grandchildren, Amanda Penning (Brandon), Anna Hamachek, Kristi Hamachek, Cassidy Davidson, Jacob Hamachek, Luke Hamachek and Abby Hamachek; and his sibling's children, Mark Ciekutis, Lynn Lemke and Darlene Foy.
