It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Goodin of Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Lillian is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Lillian's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parent Willie B. Muldrew; her husband William Goodin; and her brother Travis Willis. She is survived by: her brother Adrian Muldrew; her stepson Michael Stamps; her grandson DaJon Hudson; her godson Maurice Simmons; and her cousin Frances Taylor. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. (200 N Johnston Ave, Rockford, IL 61101). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
