Carthell; her siblings, Bob, Ardis, Paul and Mary; her aunts, Sarah Scott, Ada Beddingfield and Lugenia Hollins; her uncle Lou Willie Cain; her cousin Gladys Mackey; her nephew Timothy Sledge; and her great-niece Tasha.
She is survived by: her son Michael; her grandson Elijah Horton; her sisters, Dorothy Marks and Emma L. Gipson; and her nieces and nephews, Lionel Sledge (Elaine), Darrell Sledge (Shonda), Roy Purifoy Jr., Evon J. Sams, Michelle Bevency (Fred) and Stephanie Mathews (Mark). She is also survived by great-great nieces & nephews, cousins and friends.
