She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Brandt and Kathryn Brandt (McDonald); her husband Russell; her daughter Kathy (John Loukota); her sister LaVonne Jacobson (Ernest); and her niece Michelle Jacobson.
She is survived by: her children, Pat Kerr (Robert), Russell Ray (Carol), Michael Winters (Kim) and Joanne Cwynar (David); her grandchildren, Sam Kerr, Jim Kerr, Leslie Connor (Jason), Brett Loukota, Amy Ruper (Jared), Jason Winters (Sara), Kelly Winters, Michael Winters (Nicole), Matthew Cwynar (Celia), Kristin Barmann (John) and Kaylin Christie (Ryan); her nephew Mike Jacobson; and her niece Sandy Bjorgen. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren.
In the last days of her life, Lois and her family received support and comfort from the Northern Illinois Hospice Foundation at Alpine-Fireside Health Center. Memorials may be made in Lois' name to the Northern Illinois Hospice Foundation.
