It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Doris Trei of Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on January 30, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Roth and Esther Roth (Johnson); her husband John E. Trei; and her siblings, Margaret Hempel, Dorothy Bauder and Joe Roth.

She is survived by: her children, Marcia Simon (Bob), Brian Trei (Renee) and Steven Trei (Terri); her grandchildren, Matt Simon (Jessica), Mike Simon (Jessica), Alex Trei (Anna Claire), Kaitlyn Trei, Sydney Trei, Mallory Trei and Nick Trei; and her great grandchildren, Josh Simon, Zach Simon and Cole Simon.
